Many years ago, during his NXT time, The Miz was a mentor for Daniel Bryan but things became very bad between these two wrestlers and this is why we got to see a match between Bryan and The Miz.

There were many rumors that this feud will not end in SummerSlam and the WWE will stretch it till WrestleMania 35 where both wrestlers will fight for the WWE Championship.

This feud became very personal between these two wrestlers when during an episode of Talking Smack, Bryan said that The Miz is a coward and he does not like his way of wrestling. In return, The Miz also cut the best promo of PG era but that time Bryan was not medically cleared to wrestle so this match took two more years to happen.

This year, when WWE doctors cleared Bryan to wrestle then finally WWE booked Bryan vs Miz for the SummerSlam. This match delivered what the fans wanted and in the last, Bryan loses to The Miz.

Now we can expect a WrestleMania 35 rematch between these two superstars.
