No one expected this at all. Everyone thought that The Revival would pick up the titles after months of silly storylines and burials. But the duo of McIntyre and Ziggler attacked them backstage and inserted themselves into the match.
After this, the result was pretty much a given. It was clear that WWE wanted the faction of Ziggler, Strowman, and Drew to look as strong as possible.
As for the tag team division, it seems that newer and greater tidings are to come. Well, unless WWE screws this up too.
