Lacey Evans has not competed since February 2021, when she teamed up with Peyton Royce to face Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a match that ended in no contest. The 31-year-old then announced that she was pregnant with her second child.
"6 weeks later........Not hungry.....starving. And I'm gonna eat," she wrote in the caption.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter later reported that Evans has been training hard to prepare for her in-ring return. Meltzer also suggested that the former U.S. Marine might return before WrestleMania 38.
Meanwhile, The Sassy Southern Belle has hinted at making her in-ring return soon in a few social media posts.
Evans was a regular competitor on Monday Night RAW before going on maternity leave in February 2021. However, she did not get drafted in the 2021 Draft. Hence, she is now considered a free agent and can make her return on either SmackDown or RAW.
