Another member of The B-Team, Curtis Axel has worked his way to the top, starting off at WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), NXT and then making his way up to the main roster.

Axel is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Curt Henning, who tragically died in 2003 at the age of 44. Axel's grandfather Larry "The Axe" Hennig was also a wrestler, having wrestled in AWA and NWA. He also wrestled Bruno Sammartino several times for WWWF world title.

Axel has won the Intercontinental champion when he defeated Wade Barrett and The Miz in 2013 at Payback, the same title his father won in the WWE, becoming the first father-son to hold the belt.

The RAW Superstar has also held the WWE RAW tag team championship belts twice, most recently with Bo Dallas.
