John Cena vs Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal and John Cena have been a part of the same match on many occasions, but the two WWE Superstars have only had one televised match in singles competition. The two former WWE Champions met in their only televised singles match on an episode of WWE SmackDown in 2017.

Their match took place at the time when Jinder Mahal was enjoying his WWE Championship reign. Cena was one count away from beating the Modern Day Maharaja when the then Money In The Bank holder, Baron Corbin, made his way to the ring with the briefcase to cut the match short.

Corbin's interference resulted in Cena winning the match. Corbin later realized that it was a good time to cash in his briefcase and win his maiden WWE Championship.
When he made his intentions clear to the referee and his WWE Championship match had begun, Cena distracted The Lone Wolf for Mahal to roll him up for a quick win to retain his WWE Championship.
