Becky walked out of the biggest match of the year as a double-champion

The headlining match at WrestleMania 35 was not only iconic in featuring three top women of the company, but it was a match that crowned the first main roster double-champion for the company.

Becky Lynch pinned Ronda Rousey during the match to become the first-ever woman in WWE to win and hold two main roster Championships at the same time. While the men of the company have won and held two Championships on the main roster several times, it was a huge achievement for the women of the company, who managed to make several headlines of their own in a single night.

Becky’s change in character and gimmick, coupled with the backing of the WWE Universe, allowed her to pick up one of the greatest victories in sports entertainment, and the greatest victory for women in the sport. She became the RAW and SmackDown Champion at WrestleMania 35 and made 2019 not just her year, but the year of the women of the company.

Since her victory, Lynch, along with several female Superstars, have now become faces of their respective rosters and have continued to deliver some great performances and achieve more than anyone else in the industry.
