John Cena and Batista were set to face each other at SummerSlam 2008. Then WWE RAW GM Mike Adamle had the brilliant idea of trying to get them to co-exist and booked them in a match for the WWE Tag-Team Championships on the August 4, 2008 episode of RAW against Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiasie jr).

To be fair, Batista and Cena won the titles on the night but lost them 7 days later in the rematch on the next episode of RAW.
