#2 Sting

Could it still happen?
Could it still happen?

As the decade draws to an end, wrestling fans have lamented that they never got a chance to see the match that should have been there and that was Sting vs The Undertaker. When Sting changed himself into The Crow version of himself in WCW, it was a way for him to stay relevant and return as an avenging angel.

While they did try to repeat that with Triple H back at WrestleMania 31, it just didn't have the same draw that an Undertaker match would have. Several people thought that when The Vigilante finally made his WWE debut, The Undertaker would be his first real opponent.

Sting retired in 2015 after suffering an injury in his match against Seth Rollins and put an end to the dream match speculation. But he does seem to be in the mood for a clash with The Deadman. He may be 60 years old, but speaking with Sports Illustrated, he said while it's highly unlikely, he still wants the match. He said,

"If there was a 'Taker situation at WrestleMania, I would listen to that phone call," admitted Sting.I could get in condition and I could pull it off."

It feels that Sting perhaps wants this match to truly put an end to his career. But fans would only look back at the Goldberg vs The Undertaker match in Saudi Arabia to see what would happen if two older stars were to face off against each other.

While The Undertaker may be off the table, a certain Fiend could be the right person for a last match. As Sting used to say, "The only thing that's for sure about Sting... is nothing's for sure."
