#3 Stone Cold

The late 90s was full of vulgar language, and Stone Cold was connecting with the fans via his abuses and insults. In 1996, he was selected to wrestle a returning Bret Hart.

In an interview, Steve Austin said,

“If you put the letter S in front of 'Hitman', you have my exact opinion of Bret Hart!”

Austin lost the bout, but continued with his jibes.

#2 Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes was famous for insulting members of the audience, mocking their aesthetics and hygiene, and he often boasted about his father, Dusty Rhodes.

Once he told a lady in the crowd,

“I can literally hear you getting fatter”

He then turned to an announcer and said,

“You know how many countless hours I spend in the gym while you are reading Superman comics and checking out rottentomatoes.com?”

This added extra weight to the show because it was unscripted.

#1 CM Punk

CM Punk

CM Punk is one of the greatest talkers in pro wrestling, and he is famous for some of the best insults in recent WWE history. His mic battles with The Rock were epic.

One was during his match with The Rock on RAW in 2013. He acted arrogant and showed complete confidence that The Rock did not deserve his spot. Punk said,

“Your arms are just too short to box with God”

He had hurled many one-liners, but this was probably the pick of the bunch.
