#3. Start an undefeated streak storyline
With Dean Ambrose on his way out, WWE doesn't seem to see the sense in having him pick up victories. Instead, he's been putting over superstars left and right. This may have a long-term effect on the way he's perceived, but it's not irreversible.
Dean Ambrose in 2016 managed to heat up fast because apart from the Brock Lesnar defeat and the Fastlane pinfall that he took, he would never get pinned otherwise. When protected, a superstar instantly looks bigger to fans, and if WWE want to heat up Ambrose again, they can do so via an undefeated streak.

Having him pick up a whole series of wins could lead to much bigger opportunities for Ambrose and he could find himself in a title picture again. One thing is for sure, making him undefeated would also increase his popularity and he may feel far more satisfied from a creative perspective.
