#1 Aiden English vs Rusev w/ Lana (SmackDown Live)
On the September 18, 2018, edition of SmackDown Live, a beloved tag team broke up after a year-long friendship. Aiden English attacked Rusev after he accidentally cost Rusev his United States Championship match against Shinsuke Nakamura. Since then, Aiden English has hinted at Lana having feelings for Aiden English.

However, it was then revealed that this was all a ruse. He then asked Lana if he would like to start a relationship which resulted in Rusev & Lana chasing him out of the ring. After being humiliated and exposed by Rusev & Lana, Aiden English cost him his World Cup Qualifying match against the Miz on last week's episode of SmackDown Live.
Rusev will finally have an opportunity to get revenge against Aiden English on SmackDown Live and will hope to regain some momentum after suffering back to back losses. Aiden English will hope to gain some much-needed momentum as a singles star.
