5 Missed moments from the men's Elimination Chamber match

The force to reckon with.
The force to reckon with.

Roman Reigns won the first ever seven-men elimination chamber match. He might have won the match, but Braun Strowman truly stood out during (and after) the entire match.

Here are the best and the few missed moments from this historic match.

#5 Cena dodged the Revolution Knee

Cena had taken the brunt of this in the past.

The sixteen times World Champion and the "Architect" have a lot of history. In the opening minutes of the match for John, he managed to avoid the "Revolution Knee".

Notably, John Cena suffered a nasal fracture thanks to Seth Rollins in a similar move. This happened during the US title match back in 2015.

When we saw the similar move again with Cena's nose in the close proximity of Rollins' knee, we couldn't help but think about this horrific accident.

#4 The Miz goes Aerial

Fly Fly Fly!
Fly Fly Fly!

The Miz is one of the top heels in WWE today. It was a surreal moment as the "A-lister" was sent flying from the top of the pod by the "Monster among Men". Miz crashed and burned in the mat along with all the other Superstars.

It would be a crime not to highlight the swiftness with which the 385-pound man, Braun Strowman, scaled onto the top of the chamber. He ensured that the Miz has only one way to get down, and it was not the one the Miz would have liked.

#3 Four Men Cover

Braun Strowman brought the absolute carnage to the chamber. It didn't take long for all the other participants to realize that the only way to get the better of the "Monster Among Men" is to team up against him. Alas, even this wasn't good enough for Braun Strowman.

We couldn't help but remember when Edge faced the similar fate against Big Show, John Cena, Shawn Michaels and Matt Hardy. However, the "Rated-R Star Superstar" wasn't so lucky and couldn't kick out of the tonnes of humanity piled up on the top of him.

#2 First and last entrant made the first two eliminations

A lot of effort was put by the participants to gain the last entry in the Elimination Chamber match, as well as to avoid being the first entrant. However, none of all that came in handy as both the first and the last entrant, the Miz and the Elias, were the first two eliminations respectively.

This all happened thanks to Braun Strowman, who was indeed like a storm during the entire match. Notably, he made historic five eliminations in the match before getting eliminated by Roman Reigns.

It looks very unlikely that someone would be able to break this record in future.

#1 Shades of Rob Van Dam

This was awesome!
This was awesome!

Braun Strowman pushed every single Superstar in the match to his limits. Well, the "Architect" was no exception to this.

Seth Rollins climbed to the top of the pod and delivered a thunderous five-star frog splash to the "Monster Among Men" in the first ever seven-men elimination chamber match. This brought the memories of the first ever elimination chamber match when Rob Van Dam took it upon himself to deliver the same feat to Triple H.

Notably, RVD was known as "Mr. Monday Night", an accolade Seth Rollins is trying to achieve for himself as seen lately.
