Nakamura wowed the fans in NXT with his unique persona and his "strong style" of wrestling. Nakamura went on to win the Royal Rumble match last year, and immediately chose AJ Styles as his opponent at WrestleMania 34.
The match was a sequel to their classic encounter at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom and was expected to be the show-stealer. The bout didn't deliver at all, and Nakamura turned heel after the match.
The downfall of Nakamura kicked off as he went on to lose a string of matches against The Phenomenal One, followed by being relegated to mid-card status. Nakamura was a part of this year's Royal Rumble pre-show. He had fallen as hard as anyone ever could.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
