“The Drifter” Elias Samson was a surprise call-up from NXT to Monday Night Raw during the Superstar Shake-up. Until this week, he would just show up at random times strumming his guitar.

Samson made another backstage cameo this week on Raw. Kurt Angle said that Samson finally got his attention, and he’ll be granted his first match on the main roster against Dean Ambrose.

The match lasted nearly ten minutes and ended in disqualification thanks to The Miz, but Samson looked pretty good in his debut. The photo above captures Dean’s hilarious expression while Samson applies an armbar.
