During the latest episode of WWE RAW, it was announced that Gunther will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest at the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event. This will be the rematch of their SummerSlam 2024 bout from a few months back. It was The Ring General who had emerged victorious on that occasion to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
In addition to this, much of the focus was mainly centred on both the Men's and Women's WarGames Matches for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. Interestingly, several stars from SmackDown were also present on the show.
Following are six SmackDown Superstars who made an appearance during this week's RAW.
#4. Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton
In the main event of RAW, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill put their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on the line. They faced The Judgment Day duo of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
During the closing stages of the bout, Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton came out to cause interference. They tried to cost Jade and Bianca the win. This may have been Jax and Stratton wanting to exact revenge, as they were defeated by the tag team champions last week on SmackDown.
#3. Naomi made an appearance on WWE RAW
Despite the shenanigans, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill managed to get the victory over Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. One of the main reasons for this was the involvement of Naomi.
The Glow evened the odds by taking down both Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton. This allowed The EST and The Storm to retain their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. All signs suggest that this could potentially lead to a Women's WarGames Match at the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event.
#2. Is Jimmy Uso trying to recruit Jey Uso's former rival?
Jimmy Uso was seen talking with Jey Uso and Sami Zayn as they discussed who should be the fifth member of their team for the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
Zayn tried convincing Seth Rollins to join them. However, The Visionary swiftly declined the offer. Jey was also seen trying to recruit Rey Mysterio to their team. It appears that Jimmy Uso might have something substantial up his sleeve. Later during the show, he was spotted having a conversation with reigning Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.
It will be interesting to see if the OG Bloodline can convince the former NXT Champion to join their team for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, especially considering the history Jey has with Breakker.
#1. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu
Jimmy Uso was not the only SmackDown Superstar on RAW trying to recruit a fifth member for his WarGames team. The new Bloodline was also in town.
After Sami Zayn failed to convince Seth Rollins to join his side, it was Solo Sikoa's turn to pitch his case. He used their common animosity toward Roman Reigns and asked The Visionary to help him take down The Original Tribal Chief.
However, Rollins shut him down. He said that he would never team up with Reigns, but he would not want to partner up with a "wannabe Roman Reigns" as well, taking a jab at Solo. This comment infuriated Jacob Fatu, who was present with Sikoa and tried to get in Seth's face before the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief stopped him.
