This is one match that has been in the works for years. This is one dream match that the WWE Universe have been aching to see for years. This is a match that will see two of the biggest, most brutal Superstars in WWE history, with legitimate MMA backgrounds, face off against each other: Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley.

The two have similar backgrounds, having been a part of WWE, tried their hands at MMA - and been successful at it - before returning to WWE again.
And it seems that this match will finally happen, according to Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue, who revealed that some people in WWE are "desperate" to see it happen:
"I do know that there is a desperate need among some parts of the executive level in the WWE to get the Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar match coming. And as I have reported here previously, Brock Lesnar has been pencilled in for an appearance around SummerSlam, which means it is certainly possible that we are going to get that match."
Lashley has time and again spoken about his desire to face Lesnar, and what better place for it to happen than SummerSlam!
