One of the most impressive WWE rookies in 2020 was Dominik Mysterio, who looked like a star in his first few matches against the likes of Seth Rollins, and Murphy. While he has not been as prominent recently, the 23-year-old has a bright future ahead of him. 2021 could be a big year for the Mysterio family in WWE.

The bulk of Dominik Mysterio's 2020 went in his feud with Rollins and Murphy, before the Australian turned his back on his 'Messiah' and began dating Aalyah Mysterio. With Murphy now allied with the Mysterios, that gives more scope for Dominik Mysterio to taste Championship success this year.

The young star could win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship either with Murphy or his father, Rey Mysterio. It would be particularly heartwarming to see the father-son duo capture tag team gold together in WWE. Either way, things are looking up for Dominik Mysterio as he enters his first full year as a WWE Superstar.

It is extremely likely that his first title in WWE would be the Tag Team Championship - be it in 2021 or beyond - so he isn't shoved into the spotlight on his own too soon. Dominik and Rey Mysterio could set a new standard for tag team wrestling in the modern WWE climate.
