Almas is one of the rising stars in WWE
Andrade Cien Almas put on some excellent matches with Johnny Gargano and Aleister Black earlier this year and after losing his NXT Championship, it became evident that Almas would be getting called up to the main roster but WWE Universe was worried that he wouldn’t be able to thrive on Raw.

During the Superstar Shakeup, it was announced that Almas would be joining the Smackdown Live roster. Ever since debuting on Smackdown, Almas has had some good matches with AJ Styles and Rusev but he hasn’t done anything special.

Almas is new to Smackdown and almost all of the major superstars are booked right now in meaningful story-lines so it seems logical for Almas to pick up momentum against some mid-carders to establish himself.

However, after Summerslam, expect big changes for El Idolo as Almas will likely get an upper mid-card push soon.
He may enter a feud with Daniel Bryan or even enter The US title picture but it's almost a guarantee that he will get his deserving push soon.
