#5. Shayna Baszler - A huge beneficiary of the WWE Draft?
Shayna Baszler was moved to SmackDown in the WWE Draft, and the timing couldn't have been any better. Her run on RAW since 2020 has been slightly underwhelming.
It started well, as she had one of the two most dominant performances in Elimination Chamber history - eliminating every single contestant in the chamber to secure a title match at WrestleMania 36.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Becky Lynch reportedly offered to put over Shayna Baszler at The Show of Shows, which would have made sense, but given that she was just shy of completing a year as the RAW Women's Champion, WWE decided to go with an underwhelming finish to their match.
Lynch would go on to vacate her title, with Asuka taking the mantle as the brand's top female babyface for nearly a year. Baszler didn't benefit too much post-that, but it's hard to say that her tag team partnership with Nia Jax was unsuccessful. Both women won the Women's Tag Team titles twice and even retained it at WrestleMania 37 Night two.
The timing of the WWE Draft worked out well, as Shayna Baszler had just about finished her run alongside Nia Jax after months of tension. Not only this, but Baszler looked vicious in the process and has been on a good streak leading up to the WWE Draft 2021.
She has now moved to SmackDown, where she could easily take the role of one of the Blue brand's top stars. This may, however, require a character change from the likes of Sasha Banks.
