It won't be an overstatement if one say 2015 was the year of Seth Rollins. After winning the MITB ladder match in 2014, Rollins had to wait a few more months before his time would begin.

His time in the limelight started off when he cashed in his MITB contract at WrestleMania 31 during the main event between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar and became the new WWE Champion.
Rollins' reign had everything a fan could ask for, and he played the role of a heel champion to perfection. Rollins main evented five straight PPVs after WrestleMania 31 and the count would've been nine if Undertaker and Brock Lesnar were not in the headliner of SummerSlam and Hell in a Cell 2015.
