Monday Night RAW is getting closer to a blockbuster move, as the red brand will leave USA Network and will move to the global streaming platform Netflix from January 6 onwards.

The company held a RAW on Netflix Kickoff Event at its headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut on Wednesday and there were a lot of big-time stories that WWE fans learned about. Here are six of them:

#6. WWE launches new style microphones

The RAW on Netflix Kickoff Event didn't disappoint. Among other things, what stood out was that Triple H, Michael Cole, GM Adam Pearce, and all the other superstars that showed up in the event used new model of microphones, which are different from the ones that WWE currently uses during the shows.

These microphones had a completely different, new style and should be considered another sign of the new era that the company is about to enter.

#5. New launch of WWE worldwide - Biggest stars and biggest storylines

The Game promised that the biggest stars and storylines will be on RAW on Netflix and the red brand will become a blockbuster program. This is what Chief Content Officer Triple H said in his opening segment at WWE Headquarters on Wednesday.

"Now, with the biggest streaming service in the world as our partner, we become bigger than we have ever been before. On January 6, it is not just the launch of RAW. It is a new launch of WWE worldwide. I promise you, we will bring you the biggest stars, we will bring you the biggest storylines, we will bring you things like you have never seen before," Triple H said. [H/T - ITR Wrestling]

So far, the RAW premiere on Netflix will see three blockbuster matches (Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa, CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley), and the match card is yet to be finalized.

#4. The Road to WrestleMania 41 will kick off on the RAW premiere on Netflix

Another thing we learnt at the Kickoff Event was that for the first time ever, the Road to WrestleMania will kick off sooner than ever. As Triple H told fans in attendance, the RAW premiere on Netflix will kick off the Road to WrestleMania.

"Netflix on January 6 is just the start. That officially is the road to WrestleMania in Las Vegas. I can promise you from here to then, this will be like nothing you have ever seen before," The Game said. [H/T - ITR Wrestling]

Usually the Road to WrestleMania starts after the Royal Rumble, but WWE will change this heading to the new era.

#3. Logan Paul makes WWE return; moves to RAW

Logan Paul hadn't been seen in WWE since his loss to LA Knight at SummerSlam, which cost him the United States Championship. Five months later, he has confirmed that he is getting back to WWE, but this time not on SmackDown, but on RAW.

GM Adam Pearce officially announced Paul's move to the red brand, with Logan Paul making it clear that he aims to become a world champion next year. That said, a match with Gunther could be a likely scenario, with The Ring General making a statement, saying that he will dominate the former US Champion.

#2. Liv Morgan to face Rhea Ripley on the premiere on Netflix

This rivalry is far from over and part three will take place on the red brand's premiere on Netflix. Rhea Ripley will look to get back the title she never lost against Liv Morgan, who has been unstoppable this year.

The two megastars had another intense face-off on Wednesday, but it is still unclear what direction WWE Creative will move to and whether this will be the end of the rivalry or not. It will be also interesting to see what role Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez will play in this fight.

#1. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins to main event the premiere on Netflix

There was uncertainty who would main event the red brand's premiere on Netflix. Would it be Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa or CM Punk and Seth Rollins? Eventually, Michael Cole announced that the Punk/Rollins fight will be the main event on January 6.

The two megastars came face to face Wednesday at WWE HQ and this will be the first time they will have a match after more than a decade. As their rivalry is far from over, the expectation is that it will be extended through at least WrestleMania 41.
