The Prince of NXT has been roaming around the NXT locker rooms, attacking whoever he wants whenever he wants without any repercussions.

After taking out Johnny Gargano for good, Finn Balor has run through Matt Riddle, Tomasso Ciampa, Trent Seven, and Ilja Dragonuv since his return to the Black & Gold brand, and has become the undisputed Prince of NXT.
While Balor has dished out a lot of punishment to Gargano over the past several months, including an attack that injured him and took him out of competition for some time, Gargano hasn’t returned the same favor to Balor.
At Worlds Collide, we watched Balor attack the former NXT Champion backstage after DIY defeated Moustache Mountain. Carrying on the rivalry, NXT must get Gargano to attack Balor in return this week just days before NXT TakeOver: Portland.
Gargano needs to get an upper hand before their match at TakeOver since Balor seems to be on track to end Gargano’s illustrious career.
An attack during a match between The Prince and another NXT Superstar or during a backstage segment will nicely set up the clash for Sunday where only the strongest will survive.
