#1 The Fiend begins his mind games
SmackDown delivered an impactful segment last week as we saw Goldberg appear on the screen to announce who’s next.
While fans wanted to see Goldberg in person, it was the announcement regarding his next match in Saudi Arabia that mattered the most. The legend clarified that he wanted another run with the Universal Championship, which brought ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt into the equation.
Wyatt was unmoved by Goldberg’s challenge, as he has laid down many legends before him and Goldberg would nicely add to his collection.
This week, we should watch Wyatt continue the story of facing Goldberg through the Firefly Fun House as we might not see Goldberg add too much to the storyline after his appearance last week.
With only a couple of weeks to Super ShowDown, it is important that the WWE uses their new legend killer to great effect in this rivalry and give Wyatt a massive push from this rivalry as he will benefit a lot from facing Goldberg.
The Fiend has managed to play a lot of mind games over his opponents and has changed them for the better or worse at the end of each rivalry.
Becky Lynch has been challenged HERE.
