#3. The WrestleMania 36 call-out

A Moment of Bliss

We felt that the opening segment with the nWo wasn't bad at all. Apart from just having the Strowman-Sami Zayn-Cesaro-Shinsuke Nakamura brawl, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross had a smaller and less important role, but one that still achieved its purpose.

They called out The Kabuki Warriors - Asuka and Kairi Sane, who just so happen to be the Women's Tag Team Champions. They're also the longest-reigning Champions in the year-long lineage and they beat Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross to win those titles.

There are a few reasons why they could have called them out but the duo will be involved in the Tag Team title picture in some way at WrestleMania 36. Since a multi-woman tag team match is the best way to get many of the female superstars on the card, it makes a lot of sense that this would be the direction that they go with.

Moreover, the Tag Team titles are supposed to be "Interbrand" titles defended across RAW, SmackDown and NXT so it's the only title that can make an exception to be contested between superstars of different brands.
