Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross recently had their long-awaited return as a team and their first feud has been against Fire & Desire - one of the longest-tenured teams in the Women's Division. On the latest episode of SmackDown, they were blindsided at Gorilla position and the match would begin soon after, with Bliss and Cross picking up an easy victory within minutes.

What's clear is that the two are being set up as future contenders for the Tag Team titles. Now, we understand that TLC could see Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair win the Tag Team Championship, but if they don't, then The Kabuki Warriors will likely have to go to SmackDown to defend the titles.

Moreover, Bliss and Cross are the team that The Japanese Superstars defeated to win the title and their feud was abruptly cut short. It certainly makes storyline sense for them to challenge for the Tag Team Championship sooner than later. Perhaps 2020 could be their year!
