#2 Dominik's vital new role on RAW

An incredible segment

There's no doubt that the segment of the night belonged to Dominik and his confrontation with Seth Rollins and Murphy. The entire build to it, the way it played out, and the way it ended was executed to perfection and Dominik continues to look like a major star in the making on RAW.

It's always exciting to see the 23-year-old Dominik make an appearance and get involved - and this time around, he had to do it without his father. Seth Rollins once again attempted to be his guiding light, insinuating that he could join his side.

Dominik understandably had no interest and nothing to say. Instead, he spoke with his actions and started the beatdown on Seth Rollins before Murphy interjected and beat Dominik down along with The Monday Night Messiah.

Aleister Black came in and tried to make the save, but he was ambushed as Seth Rollins forced Murphy to press Aleister Black's eye into the steel steps. Murphy's hesitation was a great bit of storytelling and Rollins was going to target Dominik as well before he was on the receiving end of a kendo stick. Dominik Mysterio chased both men away with the kendo stick in an outstanding finish to the segment on RAW.

While we can't confirm it, the indication seems to be that Dominik, and not Rey Mysterio, will be the one to take revenge on Seth Rollins. This could mean his in-ring debut – possibly on RAW and not a PPV – is approaching soon.
