Randy Orton laid down the challenge on RAW this week

As predicted, the next victim that Randy Orton announced was none other than the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. On this week's RAW, he issued a challenge for SummerSlam and told Drew McIntyre that he has something he wants - the WWE Championship.

He compared himself to The Rock and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and rightfully pointed out that he's achieved far more than they have in terms of accolades. He even showed Drew McIntyre a hint of respect for how quickly he was able to put away Brock Lesnar - the man who brutalized Randy Orton four years ago at SummerSlam.

For the second year in a row, Orton will challenge for the WWE title at SummerSlam and it's going to be an exciting one. Drew McIntyre defeated Dolph Ziggler in a hard-fought Extreme Rules match on RAW after which he suffered an RKO out of nowhere. This is the right feud to go with at SummerSlam and we can't think of a better available name to challenge for the title right now.
