Strowman levels the man who helped him join the company.

In 2010, at a strongman competition, Strowman was spotted by fellow strongman and WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry.

Seeing potential, the Hall of Famer befriended Strowman, asked would later ask WWE for a tryout and he joined the company that year.

In 2012, Strowman won the Arnold Amateur Strongman competition, which gave him a spot in the 2013 main competition. However, an injury prevented Strowman from going past the first round, and he would join the WWE not long after.
