The Monday Night Wars were an exciting time to be a wrestling fan. The rating’s war between WWE RAW and WCW Nitro gave us some of the best wrestling action as the two promotions competed with one another in a show of one-upmanship. The Monday Night Wars gave us factions like the nWo and DX and the entire Attitude Era.
This turbulent time in wrestling history is beautifully captured by the Monday Night Wars WWE vs. WCW series on the WWE Network. The show starts at the beginning of the rating’s war with Ted Turner purchasing the company and goes on a journey that ends with Vince McMahon buying WCW in 2001.

Although some may say that this series is biased as it portrays Vince McMahon as the saviour of WCW when the promotion went out of business, the series is a must-watch for any wrestling fan.
