Not many can argue the fact that Johnny Gargano is the biggest superstar in WWE NXT today. He signed with WWE in April 2016 but has been working on matches since mid-2015.
Before coming into WWE, Gargano was engaged to fellow star Candice LeRae. The two worked together on the independent circuit for a long time and got married in September 2016.

In 2018, WWE went ahead and signed The Poison Pixie to the company too. Gargano was extremely happy with the news, calling LeRae one of the best wrestlers in the world.
“For me, being her husband, I’m very proud of her, but she got here on her own. People all the time [say], ‘Oh, she’s Johnny Gargano’s wife.’ Yes….but she’s Candice LeRae. She’s one of the best wrestlers in the world and she deserves to be here. That’s what it comes down to.” Gargano told the Orlando Sentinel.
WWE’s decision to sign LeRae paid off as she quickly became one of the biggest names in the women’s division. Not only she's a great in-ring worker, but she has also become a mentor to the newcomers.
