#1. Brock Lesnar vs Kofi Kingston - SmackDown on FOX premiere 2019
This match was weird, not just for Brock Lesnar but the way WWE decided to end KofiMania. Kofi Kingston was one of the top Superstars of 2019 and his unexpected rise in popularity in February saw him emerge as the hottest superstar heading into WrestleMania 35 (along with Becky Lynch).
He secured a WWE Championship match and defeated Daniel Bryan to become the first-ever African-born WWE Champion. It was a glorious moment and he had a strong run as WWE Champion, going past opponents like Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Samoa Joe, and Randy Orton to establish himself as the 50th person to win the Champion in the WWE title lineage.
It's also important to note that until October 2019, Brock Lesnar hadn't wrestled a match on RAW or SmackDown since 2004. The anticipation of a Brock Lesnar match on free TV after 15 years added the hype, but the match ended in just about ten seconds as Kofi Kingston's reign as WWE Champion came to a screeching halt with one F5.
It was weird how WWE decided to end KofiMania and certainly ranks as Brock Lesnar's most bizarre World Championship victory.
