#2. We hope isn't true: Backstage reason for Ziggler vs Goldberg at SummerSlam

Will Dolph Ziggler survive more than a minute?

Dolph Ziggler vs Goldberg was a heavily rumoured match for the SummerSlam card and as expected, it was made official on the go-home episode of RAW before WWE SummerSlam 2019.

According to Tom Colohue, Dolph Ziggler was the one chosen to give Goldberg his redemption from Saudi Arabia, simply because he makes everyone look good. A source told Colohue:

“For his experience. Everyone looks good wrestling with Dolph. WWE loves Dolph. There’s nothing he can’t do.”

Moreover, Ziggler is a much lighter Superstar than The Undertaker so it certainly helps that he can take a jackhammer much easier. But ultimately, this marquee match is not expected to last more than a minute or two. We're glad that Goldberg gets an easy payday, but we hope this isn't true because it just seems like unnecessary space on the card.
