#1. Hope isn't true: Shayna Baszler hasn't convinced Vince McMahon
Shayna Baszler has fully made the transition to Monday Night RAW and she has instantly been primed for a top spot, with the direction appearing to be her challenging Becky Lynch for the RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36.
It's not an easy role to be in and one that comes with a lot of pressure. Her in-ring debut was this past week against a familiar opponent - Kairi Sane.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, she didn't impress Vince McMahon and there's a bit of uncertainty about giving her the spot:
But there was negativity and uncertainty regarding McMahon’s reaction to Baszler’s match with Kairi Sane on Raw not getting the desired reaction and Baszler not coming off like a WrestleMania headliner.
We hope this isn't true because 2-3 weeks is too little time to determine whether someone can be an instant headliner. As of now, Shayna Baszler is the best possible opponent for Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36.
