Over the years, there have been many rumors about Vince McMahon re-writing the script for RAW or SmackDown at the last minute. Per Wrestling Observer Live, he did exactly that for multiple matches and segments in the latest episode of RAW.
Sportskeeda's Nishant Jayaram wrote:
[Riddick] Moss beat Ricochet clean, which shocked many fans. Reports hinted that Ricochet's push over the last few months could have come to an end following the loss against Moss.
Rowan, who had been carrying a mysterious cage over the last few weeks, finally revealed what was inside it - a tarantula. That segment, too, was reportedly rewritten by Mr. McMahon on RAW this week.
The other match that was reportedly changed was Aleister Black vs AJ Styles, where the former had a gauntlet match with all three members of The OC.
We hope this isn't true because things don't always pan out when they're changed at the last minute. It's clear when there are inconsistencies with the storytelling, though this week wasn't a bad episode overall.
