#1 Cody Rhodes becomes EVP of a legit major pro-wrestling company
After leaving WWE, Cody Rhodes tried his hand at independent wrestling and wrestled for several promotions. Back in 2017, pro-wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer commented that ROH couldn't sell 10,000 seats for an event. In response, Cody and The Young Bucks planned an event named All In and worked towards promoting the event and selling tickets for the same. In early 2018, Cody was silently working on turning All In into a huge success. No fan or wrestling personality would have guessed at the time as to what would happen in a matter of a few months.

All In sold more than 11,000 seats and was a huge success. Soon after, the official announcement of All Elite Wrestling was made on Youtube on the first day of 2019. The next day, Rhodes and The Bucks joined AEW as competitors as well as EVPs. Billionaire Tony Khan was named the President of AEW.
It's crazy how Cody's life took a complete turn for the best in a matter of a year. Unfortunately, Dusty isn't here to see what his son has been able to accomplish, but he sure is looking down on Cody and being proud of the feats he has achieved.
