Nikki Bella and John Cena became the best-known couple in WWE throughout their time together. They were the faces of "Total Divas" and later "Total Bellas."

The couple began dating back in 2012 before "Total Divas" debuted on the E! Network the following year. The main challenge in their relationship throughout their time together was how Cena didn't want to marry Bella or have children. But the couple remained together, and at WrestleMania 33, Cena publicly proposed at on the WWE's biggest stage.

Bella and Cena then both took some time away from WWE programming and began planning their wedding. But in an unexpected turn of events, the couple made the decision to call off their engagement in 2018. This development later became a storyline on "Total Divas", but Cena hasn't appeared on the show since the split.

Cena has since moved on to marry Shay Shariatzadeh, and Bella is engaged to her former Dancing with the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev. The latter couple welcomed a son named Matteo into the world together.
