Can we have a list of champions and not include John Cena?Alright, don't get mad at me, but John Cena does make it to this list, even if his Tag-Team championship reigns were insignificant, to say the least.
While Cena has never won the Intercontinental Champion, he is widely remembered as arguably the best United States champion ever.
Along with Shawn Michaels, Cena went on to win the World Tag-Team Championship after they defeated Edge and Randy Orton for the titles. He was also the WWE Champion at the time, making him one of the three individuals on this list who held the top Championship belt along with a secondary title.
Apart from his partnership with Michaels, Cena was also tag champs with Batista, David Otunga and The Miz at one point in his career. Speaking of The Miz......
