Bobby Lashley could have competition not just from WWE SmackDown stars (i.e. Big E), but also NXT. NXT Champion Karrion Kross, who recently made his main roster debut, aspires to hold two belts at the same time and plans to direct his attention towards Lashley after he beats Samoa Joe.

"After I beat Samoa Joe and I retain my NXT Championship, I need to find some sort of course, some sort of way, some sort of action to getting a title shot against Bobby Lashley. I’d like to become WWE Champion and NXT Champion at the same time. That's the plan," said Kross.

Kross is an imposing figure in the ring and has the physical attributes to hold his own against anyone in WWE.

The NXT Champion has the charisma to be a future world champion on the main roster, and a feud with Bobby Lashley could go a long way.

Kross is currently in his second run as NXT Champion, having won the title by defeating Finn Balor earlier this year.
