6 WWE stars Edge could face at WrestleMania if he returns for another match

Bryan and Edge have crossed paths before a few times in WWE.

This feud would be great due to the men crossing paths with each other a few times in the history of WWE. Daniel Bryan started with the company in 2009 while Edge was in his prime as one of the top stars in all of the company. But due to his abrupt retirement in 2011, Edge and Bryan never really had a prolonged feud with each other.

They did have a match on RAW back in the day, but that was before Bryan was established as one of the biggest stars in all of WWE. He was just coming into his own, and Edge's departure led to one of the first big title run for Bryan. Bryan won Money in the Bank for SmackDown in 2011 and cashed in later that year. It wouldn't be hard to book the feud by having Edge claim that had he not left, then Bryan wouldn't be the Superstar we all know and love today.

Another reason why this would work is that Bryan is a tremendous worker and gets the best out of his opponents. He's also a safe worker, which is something that Edge would need in an opponent for his return. Bryan also puts over a lot of stars, as he has in the past with the likes of Reigns, Ali, Buddy Murphy, and many others in his career.
