WWE has had major changes over the past few months. SmackDown, NXT, and Monday Night RAW have all changed homes. New titles have been introduced and new champions have been crowned too.
With the big changes came something brand new to World Wrestling Entertainment: the Transfer Window. This essentially allows RAW, SmackDown, and NXT to recruit and acquire new talent, trading from show to show.
Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce run Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night RAW, respectively, and both General Managers want the best rosters possible. As a result, they have been seen chatting with main roster stars repeatedly over the past few weeks.
While it isn't clear when the Transfer Window officially ends, it will likely be soon, and some major moves will be made. This article will look at a handful of Monday Night RAW stars who will likely be changing brands now that the Netflix move is official, even if it isn't quite clear when it will happen.
Will John Cena beat Ric Flair's record? A former WCW Champion thinks so HERE
Below are six WWE stars who could leave RAW following the Netflix premiere.
Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed & Ivy Nile, American Made could use a refresh
American Made is one of the most talent-heavy factions in all of WWE. The group is led by Chad Gable, and he is joined by the young but talented Ivy Nile and the unbelievably skilled Creed Brothers.
The group was formed out of Gable's issues with The Alpha Academy. He ditched or was rejected by Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri. It was no problem for the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion, however, as he quickly picked up three of the best and brightest in the industry.
While their momentum as a unit hasn't quite been what many fans would have hoped, that could soon change. Chad Gable and American Made have appeared on Friday Night SmackDown and teased jumping ship to the blue brand.
That could officially go down soon. While Gable has a big match against a mystery opponent on RAW next Monday, that could be his and the faction's swan song before moving to SmackDown full-time. From there, they can feud with Cody Rhodes, The New Bloodline, Motor City Machine Guns, and others.
Sami Zayn could go to SmackDown to fix things with Kevin Owens and others
Sami Zayn is a beloved star. He was popular on the indies, he was popular on NXT, and he's loved on WWE's main roster. Sami has held numerous titles throughout his career, with the prized Intercontinental title being the most recent. He is very talented.
Just like Chad Gable, The Underdog from the Underground has recently been on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, but it isn't clear if there is any intention on his end to join the brand. He was on SmackDown to fight Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline first and foremost.
Still, upon appearing, he had issues with Carmelo Hayes, which could develop into a full rivalry. For that reason alone, Sami moving to SmackDown may be worth it. Plus, he could then be with Jimmy Uso, Roman Reigns, and Paul Heyman full-time. Jey Uso, on the other hand, might remain as a solo star on RAW.
Drew McIntyre could move to WWE SmackDown to feud with Cody Rhodes
The last person on this list who could leave WWE Monday Night RAW may also be SmackDown-bound. Drew McIntyre showed up on the blue brand recently while hunting The Bloodline. He has made it clear he wants to take each member out.
Interestingly, he may have started another feud on the blue brand in the process. He had a very tense and interesting face-to-face interaction with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, even warning The American Nightmare to "watch his back."
Be it in a feud with Rhodes or to finish off The Bloodline, there is a strong chance Drew jumps to SmackDown full-time. Roman is there, Heyman is there, Solo Sikoa is there, Jimmy Uso is there, and as noted, Sami Zayn might jump ship too. That alone is a reason to show up on SmackDown regularly.
There is another potential reason, too. Some WWE fans believe that Drew and Kevin Owens could be forming a bond over mutual hatred of The Bloodline and Cody. With Kevin being on SmackDown, Drew joining him just makes sense.
