One of the biggest shocks of Hell in a Cell is the fact that Shinsuke Nakamura has been left off the card, even though he's the United States Champion. Neither of the mid-card titles will be defended in Texas, but whilst Seth Rollins is still on the card, Nakamura wasn't even given this opportunity.

He has been feuding with Jeff Hardy over the title ever since their encounter at Extreme Rules, but whilst Hardy and Randy Orton have continued their rivalry and it will now end inside Satan's structure. General Manager Paige has failed to unveil a new challenger for Nakamura which means that he will be another star watching from the crowd on Sunday night.
