Another couple who have had an interesting year are former NXT stars Tye Dillinger and Peyton Royce. The couple met and started dating whilst they were both still part of NXT but their fortunes have both changed somewhat over the past few years.

Dillinger was promoted to SmackDown before Royce, but the Australian star later followed her fiance to the main roster so that the couple were able to work together. However, this didn't last for very long since Dillinger requested his release from WWE earlier this year and was shockingly granted it, which has since allowed him to move over to AEW and become known as The Chairman Shawn Spears.

Royce remained with WWE and is now a former Women's Tag Team Champion after WWE allowed her to lift the Championships alongside Billie Kay back at WrestleMania. The IIconics are now the longest reigning Women's Tag Team Champions in WWE history.
The fact that the couple now works for separate promotions hasn't had any effect on their relationship over the past few months since they announced that they had finally tied the knot on Instagram back in September.
