If you’ve watched even a single show of WWE over the past decade or so, you’d be well aware of who CM Punk is. Even though the controversial former WWE Superstar has been away from the ring for some time now, he has managed to leave a mark, unlike any other WWE Superstar before him.

Punk won the WWE Championship and had a great reign, even getting a few top class matches out of other Superstars while holding it.

After his stay in WWE, Punk decided to try his luck out in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). While preparing to enter the octagon, Punk was interviewed by Michael Landsberg of ‘Off The Record’ which aired on TSN in Canada.

Landsberg is known to tease and joke with people, but he joked with the wrong guy who has been known for being an outspoken and a sarcastic individual.

During the interview, Landsberg asked Punk about his commitment and credibility to the sport which proved to be the tipping point of the interview. Punk seemed calm and composed but was visibly upset by the comments and said this to Landsberg:

“You try to be friendly, you try to act like my friend, but then you get me on camera and you try to act like the cool kid in school.”

While we all know how Punk’s UFC career went, it’s always better to stay on the right side of the controversial former WWE Superstar.
