Leading into the 2022 Royal Rumble, SmackDown's newest star is already making a name for herself. Aliyah recently made history by defeating Natalya in just 3.17 seconds, which has now become an official WWE record.
Aliyah will now enter the Women's Rumble Match and look to make more history. She could become the first wrestler of Syrian and Iraqi descent to win the over-the-top-rope contest. All in all, it will be another chance for the WWE Universe to see what Aliyah can bring to the table.
#1. Austin Theory will enter the Men's Rumble match for the first time hoping to prove himself to Mr. McMahon
There's only one selfie that Austin Theory wants to see when flicking through his phone on the morning of January 30. Austin will want to see a selfie of himself pointing to the WrestleMania sign after winning the Men's Rumble Match.
Since November, Theory has been embroiled in a teacher/student type storyline with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. It started when Vince wanted Austin to learn about expecting the unexpected. Now, he's willing to do whatever it takes to prove himself to the boss.
Making his debut in this year's Men's Royal Rumble Match, he will be closely watched by Mr. McMahon, that's for sure.
