#5. Cedric Alexander - The wrong route taken by WWE
Cedric Alexander's WWE run has been filled with ups and downs. Unfortunately, it's mostly been the latter. But mid-2020 to March 2021 represented the best period of his career.
The talented Alexander joined The Hurt Business alongside Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin, turning it into the hottest faction in WWE and wrestling. Looking back, almost everything was done right with the faction up until their split.
Benjamin represented a good veteran presence in the faction, and his partnership with Alexander saw them become the RAW Tag Team Champions - both men's best period in WWE since their signing/return.
Cedric Alexander should have been the breakout star of The Hurt Business. Bobby Lashley was always going to be the most successful, but it's clear that WWE higher-ups didn't view Alexander as that kind of superstar.
Eventually, his and Shelton Benjamin's alliance dissolved as well, with both men left with nothing. It's unfortunate, but Cedric Alexander should be getting pushed. Perhaps re-inserting him into a storyline involving The Hurt Business would be good once the crowds return. But if WWE wanted to push Alexander, it would have happened by now.
