#1 Dominik Mysterio could become Seth Rollins' disciple on WWE SmackDown
For the majority of his time as the Monday Night Messiah, Rollins has been opposed by the Mysterios. It introduced Dominik Mysterio to the WWE Universe and has since competed in several specialty matches right away. How many stars can say that they've competed in street fights and cage matches right after they debuted for WWE?
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
The whole angle has been about respect and family for the Mysterios. For it to work and not become stagnant now that the storyline is on SmackDown, it desperately needs a twist. Dominik has obviously opposed Rollins for the atrocities he has committed against the Mysterio family, but it would be a great swerve if he abandoned his family. He still won't forgive Murphy for what Murphy did during the whole feud, which could push him to change his stance.
Even though he just debuted this summer, there could easily be a WrestleMania 37 match between Rey and Dominik. It would be a "Once in a Lifetime" type match at the Show of Shows, pitting father against son. Dominik could easily continue to fight Rollins at every turn, but if he does, it will just be the feud on repeat.
To cause some shock and awe in the fall and winter months, a betrayal by Dominik could do wonders for WWE storytelling. He could also turn on his family because of Aalyah and Murphy. Simply put, when groups like the New Day and Mysterios are seen to be so close, it always provides emotional moments and feuds for when there are dramatic heel turns.
