#4. Mick Foley put his career on the line against Triple H in a WWE match

Mick Foley is one of the most-respected WWE legends in the history of the business. Although his career was almost on the line in every match he had, he battled Triple H in a career-threatening match at No Way Out 2000.

The hardcore legend was proud of his career but wanted to headline WrestleMania once before he could hang his boots for good. Triple H, who ruled the landscape of WWE alongside Stephanie McMahon at the time, offered one condition to make his wish come true.

Cactus Jack would get to headline the Shows of Shows if he defeated The Game in a Hell in a Cell match. If he loses, his career will be over.

Shockingly, Cactus Jack lost the match and was forced to retire. Thankfully, Linda McMahon fulfilled his wish by inserting him into the main event of WrestleMania 2000.

#3. Triple H put his career on the line against Brock Lesnar in WWE WrestleMania 29

Triple H and Brock Lesnar were involved in a heated rivalry in 2012-13. Since returning to the company, the Beast was in his most vicious form and broke The Game's arm as he declined his contractual demands.

The feud got personal to the extent that Lesnar even broke Shawn Michaels' arm using the Kimora submission hold. The rivalry concluded at WrestleMania 29, where both titans battled in a No Holds Barred match, where Triple H's career was on the line.

Thankfully, The King of Kings proved his worth by defeating The Beast Incarnate on the Grandest Stage of them All. He went on to wrestle in multiple matches at WrestleMania in the future.
