#2. Ric Flair put his career on the line against Shawn Michaels in a WWE match
Ric Flair is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. However, his career was on a decline in 2008. Vince McMahon gave him an ultimatum that if he doesn't win the next match, his career will be over.
Flair picked Shawn Michaels as the guy who retired him at WrestleMania 29. HBK declined initially but then agreed as he wanted to put an end to Flair's long-term suffering.
The two battled in an incredible contest on The Grandest Stage of them all. Michaels hugged his opponent after pinning him after a picture-perfect Sweet Chin Music.
Ric Flair's retirement at WrestleMania 29 is one of the most emotional WWE moments of all time.
#1. Shawn Michaels put his career on the line against The Undertaker in his final WWE match
Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker battled in one of the greatest matches of all time at WrestleMania 25, where The Phenom continued his undefeated streak by putting yet another opponent down at WrestleMania.
However, Michaels wasn't ready to give up. He challenged the legendary superstar to one more match at WrestleMania 26. The Undertaker would eventually agree, but only under one condition - The Heart Break Kid's career will be over if he loses.
Unfortunately, The Show Stopper lost the match after another classic match with The Deadman. His final goodbye remains one of the most heartfelt WWE moments of all time.
