Yes, The Revival or FTR as they are currently known seem to be doing a lot better in All Elite Wrestling as compared to WWE, but I have to say that their throwback style would have been a great fit for the NWA in the 80s.
That is the style of wrestling that they are a fan of and I would even go so far as to say that they would have been fantastic in the WWE (WWF) roster at that time too, mixing it up with The Rockers and The Hart Foundation in the ring.

We saw a glimpse of what The Revival can do when they were in NXT and had teams like #DIY and American Alpha to work against. But back when this style of wrestling was mainstream, especially in the NWA but also in WWE, they would have been 'top guys'. Who wouldn't have wanted to see them mix it up with The Steiners?
