What has happened to EC3? Why was he even called up if WWE had zero plans for him? And why did they bother to have Dean Ambrose put him over?

It's clear that EC3 doesn't have a big fan in Vince McMahon who probably still sees Derek Bateman when he looks at the former NXT star. EC3 was called up in December as the McMahons hastily called up names from NXT to try and boost sagging ratings. EC3 has been used the least from the Superstars called up and was only used in backstage segments in his first days on the main roster.

WWE recently tried out EC3 with Drake Maverick as his manager in a dark match and Vince McMahon reportedly hated each and every manager spot in the match which could be spelling the end of EC3's chances to be a star on the main roster.
